Bitter Fingers, Vol. 17

In volume seventeen, antipodean correspondent Tim Dickinson offers a brand new tune from Oz in A Song From Down Under, there’s tracks from M83ís imminent release Hurry Up Weíre Dreaming in New Best Album Ever, and Ladyhawke gets shouted at to Hurry Up And Make Another Album. There’s also a particularly amazing slice of J-Pop in Innocent Pleasures alongside brand new tunes from the likes of Swimming, Blood Orange and Teenage Bad Girl and a beautiful Epic Last Song from Spoon. Lovely stuff.

Bitter Fingers, Vol. 16

In Bitter Fingers, Mark Higgins plays out some of the very finest new tracks from emerging and established indie-pop, alternative and synth-led artists, crossing genres with scant regard for the consequences.

Bitter Fingers returns to the Wilton Way Café with a very special Mercury Prize show for London Fields Radio. Tracks from each of the nominated albums are discussed, with their chances of winning and relatives merits discussed, plus bacon is involved. Bacon is always involved.
