Slow Sundays, Vol. 15

After a long-overdue sunny break in Central America, this week we’re back in the café for a Slow Sundays, Saturday special. As the weekend was so young, there was a more upbeat feel to the show with a good mixture of old school plates that have been acquired over the last month as well as some gems from the likes of Sound Stream, Legowelt and a classic to end on.

You can catch Slow Sundays at the next Fill Yer Boots with Mr. Beatnick and Picturehouse on May 6th at The White Horse in Shoreditch.

Slow Sundays, Vol. 14

An hour of slow grooves to welcome in the spring breeze as the windows start to open and the vibes are allowed to breath. This week’s show features a slow jam from Bashmore following his 3 hour set from the previous night at The Nest, some classic Slow Sundays fodder with Axel Boman, Eddie C & Moodymann, wrapped up with some old school house classics played at a slower pace and finished with some John Roberts niceness. Choice selections, brought to you as always. Love x

Slow Sundays, Vol. 13

A dreary day in London Fields and a packed café in Wilton way: the setting for this week’s Slow Sundays. Lucky for some, unlucky for others, Vol. 13 lives up to its superstition (or was it the hangover?). With a varied selection from Jazz to Disco, this week’s show was the perfect antidote to a grey Sunday in March.

Slow Sundays, Vol. 12

Coming live from the café on a very sunny Sunday following a couple of weeks off. Debut airing for Two Two’s to kick off the show, as well as an exclusive from No Regular Play with their new track Rain from new label Cut Mistake, a classic from Model 500 and lots of slow niceness in between.

Slow Sundays, Vol. 11

Volume 11 from the café brings you tracks from Tiger & Woods following their night donning the tables in Dalston at The Nest, a classic from Bobby Konders and an absolute dream of a composition from DJ 3000 (check that out!). Bit of a strange theme of loneliness running through the middle but, I have to say this was resoundingly unintentional.
Remember to follow @SlowSunday for your top ups throughout the week.

Enjoy & keep it slow
